Warren County Library Slates August Activities

Would you like to create a beach-themed summer keepsake? You can by attending the Southwest branch of the Warren County Library on Aug. 11. Kids and teens can paint a pretty sunset on a seashell–bring your own from a beach vacation, or use one provided by the library. For ages 10 through 18. Please register all participants to assure enough supplies. For more details register with Rachael and Kayleigh at rodell@warrenlib.org.

Finding Fish

The Warren County Library Gardner Branch presents an interactive movie watching experience on Friday, Aug. 12, 2 p.m. with a showing of “Finding Nemo” that includes fun interactive activities that go along with the story. The program is recommended for children ages 4 through 17. Please register each child separately so that we have enough supplies for everyone. Register with M. Shick at mshick@warrenlib.org.

Watercolor Mug

Teens will be instructed “step by step” using wet on wet techniques to create an ocean beach scene watercolor sized to fit inside a reusable travel cup (that will be provided) by the Warren County Library.

The event is Thursday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m. Teens are requested to bring their own watercolors and brushes if you can or share with other students.

Register with presenter Mary Ellen Krivanek at (908) 818-1430 or mkrivanek@warrenlib.org.
