Warren Hills Baseball Player Among Top In State

Recently, the top 100 high school baseball players in New Jersey were selected to play in the 2018 Senior All Star Game at Diamond Nation in Flemington. The players were divided into four teams—Northeast, Northwest, Central and South—based on the region of their high school. Tommy Moore, a 2018 Warren Hills Regional High School graduate, was one of the players selected to participate.

Moore, a third baseman, played four years of Varsity baseball for Warren Hills and was a two-year team captain. He was named the team’s Most Valuable Player for the 2018 season and was also named to the 2018 Skyland Conference Valley Division 1st team. In addition, he was the recipient of the Warren Hills Baseball 2018 Michael Curto Award which recognizes a player who best demonstrates “3D4Life” (Dedication, Desire and Discipline). This past season Moore batted .422 with four homeruns and 18 RBIs for the Blue Streaks. He will be attending Sussex County Community College in the fall on an athletic scholarship, where he will be the team’s starting third baseman.
