Warren Offers Extra Online Learning for Affordable Distanced Learning

With the seasons changing, college students across the country are making big decisions about their education. Is it worth paying high tuition if I don’t get the on-campus experience? Should I take a gap year?

Warren Community College is encouraging students not to put off their dreams. Affordable, safe education is right at their fingertips with WCC’s expanded distance learning offerings this summer and fall.

“We don’t want anyone to have to put off their education because of financial distress or uncertainty of the future,” said WCC President Will Austin. “Whether students stay for a semester, year, or decide to earn their Associate Degree with us, we’re happy to have them in our community.”

Both summer and fall semesters offer dozens of distance-learning classes, including general education courses, electives, and core degree classes that include English Composition, Calculus, American History, Graphic Design, Principles of Marketing, Introduction to Psychology, Ethics and Moral Problems, and Medical Terminology.

Tuition starts at only $173 per credit and textbooks are a fraction of the cost of those at four-year counterparts, so it’s easy and affordable for those in financial distress due to lost income to save.

“As the world has learned in the past months, plans will change,” said Dr. Austin. “We will continue to adapt to best serve our students, whether they are pursuing a degree or continuing their education through certifications and other programs.”

Dr. Austin added that whether the “tough decisions come down to finances, health risks, or general unease at returning to ‘normal,’ our College is here for you.”

Join the ranks of those learning from the school named #1 Community College in New Jersey, #1 Community College for Student Success in New Jersey, and #1 New Jersey Community College Nursing Program.
