Warren Tech Grads Earn NJAC Scholarships

Two recent Warren County Technical School graduates are the 2020 Warren County recipients of the Investors Foundation Scholarship Program awarded through the New Jersey Association of Counties (NJAC) Foundation.

Emily Rosillo, of Washington, and Jayden Battle, of Alpha, received the $500 scholarships during the Warren County Board of Chosen Freeholders meeting held in the auditorium of their alma mater on Oct. 14. Both students are currently attending Sussex County Community College for Education.

Warren Tech staff called both Emily and Jayden hard-working and active in the school. Emily took part in the Child Development Program and could often be found the “Sprouts.” Student-athlete Jayden did everything with a smile, said his teachers, and also was passionate about helping his fellow students.

“You’re the best of what Warren County has to offer,” said Freeholder Jason J. Sarnoski to the students.

In addition to the county freeholders, John Donnadio, the NJAC Executive Director, was on hand to assist with the presentation.
