WBID Lunch Meeting Features Biz Benefits Through WCCC

From free training to internships, and a plethora of other non credit – and credit – programs at Warren County Community College, great benefits to area businesses and non-profit organizations are available throughout year. 

Join the Washington Business Improvement District for a special luncheon presentation on how the college can benefit your business, Thursday Dec. 12 at Enzo’s Pasta Grill, Route 57, Washington. The Lunch ‘N Learn starts at 11:45 a.m.

Guest speaker Dawn Smith, Coordinator, College Marketing INtegration at the College, will outline various programs, some free and very low cost, available to businesses.

Among the programs that Smith will highlight, beyond free training opportunities include:

  • NJ Community College Opportunity Grant
  • New Programs of Study and Updates to current offerings – why that is important
  • Business Advisory Committees – what are they, why we need businesses to participate
  • Internships/Externships

As the Coordinator of College Marketing Integration, Smith assists in regional marketing efforts of the College. She also assists in the marketing and assessment of true pathways for areas of study within the current and future capabilities of credit and continuing education programming. Most important to her presentation on Dec. 12, she also works closely with small and large regional employers in NJ and PA, promoting the development and implementation of soft skills, computer skills, and industry-specific workforce training programs with the resources and capabilities of WCCC and via institution awarded grant programs.
