WCC Grads Move The Tassle At Commencement

Warren Community College celebrated its 35th commencement ceremony on Saturday afternoon, May 21, under sunny skies and an air of excitement, with family and friends on hand to share in the happy occasion with the graduates.

Warren’s Board of Trustee Chair Yvonne Reitemeyer, welcomed the SRO crowd and offered the first of many congratulations to the graduates, including words from Dr. Will Austin, President of Warren. Warren County Commissioner Director Jason Sarnoski spoke on behalf of area elected officials. Hope Township Mayor Tim McDonough gave the keynote speech and Kelly Molinare was the Student Speaker.

Other dignitaries in the audience included Assemblymen John DiMaio and Erik Peterson, and Warren Commissioners James Kern III and Lori Ciesla.
