WCCC Honor Society & Members Recognized

The Warren County Community College (WCCC) chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society was recently recognized at the annual PTK regional convention for its dedication to excellence throughout the year.

The Alpha Upsilon Rho chapter of PTK at WCCC received the award for Distinguished Chapter Officer Team and was named both a Middle States Gold and Five-Star chapter at the 32nd Annual Middle States Regional Convention held at the Harrisburg Hilton March 15-17. 

In addition, chapter advisor Jean Vasko was recognized for completing the Five-Star chapter advisor program. 

Alpha Upsilon Rho was represented at the conference by chapter President Allan Martinez and Vice-President of Leadership Arleen Molina. 

The Middles States Region serves Phi Theta Kappa members at 82 chapters throughout New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.  

Phi Theta Kappa International is the only recognized honor society for 2-year colleges. 

As a member of PTK, students are eligible to apply for Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarships offered by over 600 4-year colleges and universities located throughout the United States.
