Workplace Harassment WBID Luncheon Subject

With many stories of sexual harassment in the news these days, it is clearly an issue that has taken center stage, particularly when it comes to the workplace.

The Washington Business Improvement District’s Thursday March 8 Lunch ‘N Learn will focus on this timely important issue, with special guest speaker  Jill Zinckgraf, MPA, Executive Director of the Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Crisis Center of Warren County.

The luncheon is set for Thursday March 8 at Pasta Grill by Enzo, Route 57, Washington, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“Sexual harassment has become an often discussed part of our daily lives – in particular, at work,” noted Zinckgraf.

In this facilitated discussion there will be an examination of cultural ideas and social construction about what sexual harassment and gender discrimination are, and why they are significant to everyone – even those who are not victims or perpetrators of it. The luncheon will include ample time for questions and answers.

The event begins with open networking, so attendees are also encouraged to bring business cards.

Cost per person is $15 in advance, $20 at the door. To register in advance, go to www.washingtonbid.org or phone 908-689-4800.
