The Forks of the Delaware District of the Minsi Trails Council held their annual Pinewood Derby on March 19 in Belvidere. A total of 98 scouts brought their homemade derby cars to take a turn on the track. To qualify for the district derby, racers had to be among the top finishers from each pack. The speedy cars made for many tight races and even a fraction of a second made the difference.

Five Cub Scouts from Mansfield represented Pack 222 at the Derby:
Richard Lalevee finished 1st overall with an average time of 2.504
Nicholas Staada finished 2nd overall with an average time of 2.550
Nicholas Briganti finished 22nd overall with an average time of 2.592
Nathan Misertino finished 45th overall with an average time of 2.608
Aiden Knickerbocker finished 49th overall with an average time of 2.615
