Washington Borough’s Oct. 15th Art Walk and Artist Receptions gives art appreciators the opportunity to meet the artists while exploring downtown.
Several reception locations will be open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. along the pedestrian-friendly downtown, marked by Washington Art Walk Flutter Flags. Each location will feature works n display and an opportunity to speak with the artists, socialize, and have a fun night out!
Featured artists include China Romero, who will be set up in Serendipity’s gift shop, Billie Herzer, who will be on hand in Fliegauf Jewelers, and Roberta Rose, who will be demonstrating her transfer technique in collage and mixed media at 5 East Art Gallery in Kathy’s Kove & Kafe.
In between meet and greets, don’t forget to put on your dance shoes. Sock hop tunes will be played by DJs Maliq and Penny Griffin along the Avenue.
Pick up a program at any of the participating reception areas. It is even good for 10 percent off a meal at Juanito’s Mexican Restaurant on Broad Street.
