Abilities Hosts Webinar Series For Families to “Bridge the Gap”

Abilities of Northwest Jersey’s Family Enrichment Committee is presenting a webinar series to help families of those with special needs explore resources for those “Bridging the Gap Between High School and Young Adult.”

The series takes place each Tuesday evening from 6-7 p.m. through June 29 EXCEPT May 25. The topics are:

  • May 4: What Makes Us Unique—specialized services at Abilities
  • May 11: An Overview of the Abilities Day Habilitation Programs
  • May 18: Heigh Ho, Heigh Ho, It’s Off to Work We Go! (discussing employment)
  • June 1: Let’s Get Person-Centered (planning for the future)
  • June 8: Supports Brokerage Services
  • June 15: Be Our Guest and Learn About Housing Opportunities
  • June 22: Don’t Be Tardy for the Party to Getting a Guardian
  • June 29: Financial Planning—Making the Future More Secure for Your Loved One with Special Needs
