Last week, Oxford Central School welcomed author Jordan Sonnenblick. He has written many young adult fiction novels, including Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie; After Ever After; and Falling Over Sideways. The author, who taught middle school English in Warren County before becoming a full-time writer, led a workshop and gave a special talk. In the workshop, he demonstrated the writing process and allowed students to practice their own skills. He also discussed his journey to becoming an author with the 5th-8th graders. He was happy to talk about his inspirations and where his story ideas originate.
