Oxford Central School Aims For Another Archery Title

Oxford Central School is aiming for its 17th consecutive New Jersey State Archery title and began that journey earlier this week in the start of state competition. The powerhouse team, under the direction of coach Rob Causton and comprising students grades 5-8, will see where they stand in the state rankings in about two weeks and if all goes well, they’ll be going to the nationals in Kentucky sometime this spring.

Among those watching the action this week with Coach Rob Causton (third from left) were, L-R, Oxford Mayor Gerald Norton, Warren County Commissioner James Kern, State Sen. Doug Steinhardt, Bob Magnuson, OCS Chief School Administrator, and Warren County Commissioner Jason Sarnoski.
