Awaken Your Senses to Spring

Charlie encourages everyone to open all the senses this spring in this week’s photo series.

The way things are going, I am starting to feel a little optimistic about people being able to get out and enjoy themselves, hopefully in time to get out and enjoy the advent of spring!!

GAME PLAN: present photos depicting various stages of life amid springtime in the wild! Stages of life, including nesting scenes, wildlife preparing for and nurturing their young, and young animals exploring and enjoying their new world!

In short, spring introducing A NEW GENERATION.

Hopefully, these images may arouse in you a fresh awareness, a recollection, if you will, of pleasant springtime images and memories of your own! With that being said, you will automatically, begin to hone and sharpen ALL your senses in a joyous anticipation of spring!

Your senses have already begun to enjoy early spring moments, for example:

Hearing the early morning and evening chorus of the birds and Spring Peepers! Seeing the early spring flowers, the greening of grasses and the buds on the trees! Maybe observing the building of a bird’s nest or the diggings of various animals creating dens! Smelling the aromas of the various flowering plants and shrubs. Anticipating the touch of a newly mowed lawn or fresh, shiny new leaves and flower petals.  Begin to feel the warmth of the sun’s rays. Tasting fresh, locally grown produce.

QUOTES FOR SPRING

“Spring is the time of plans and projects.”  –  Leo Tolstoy

“The spring wakes us, nurtures us and revitalizes us.  How often does your spring come?  If you are a prisoner of the calendar, it comes once a year.  If you are creating authentic power, it comes frequently, or very frequently.”  –  Gary Zukav

“You must prune to bloom.  If the dead weight is not pruned and removed, it compromises the quality, performance, and output of the vine.  When you prune what’s not working in your life, you make the space and place for renewal to happen and for new growth to spring forth.”  – Susan C. Young
