Centenary Stage Company to Host “35 for 35” Virtual Fundraising Event May 28

Centenary Stage Company is hosting a Day of Giving to kick off its “35 for 35” virtual fundraising campaign on Thursday, May 28.

The not-for-profit group is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, but amid pandemic restrictions, estimates $180,000 in ticket sales that would go toward paying guest artists, production costs, and salaries.

It is encouraging donors to give $35, but are grateful for whatever people can spare in these trying times.

These tax-deductible contributions can be made online through the Centenary Stage Company secure on-line portal at centenarystageco.org or via PayPal.

The Day of Giving will run 24 hours on May 28. Additionally, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., staff will be online on the company Facebook page, running live Day of Giving activities to include drawings and giveaways for those who donate. Prizes will include tickets to upcoming performances, gift cards to local restaurants, and theatre merchandise.

CSC has been serving as a major cultural resource in northwest New Jersey for 35 years and hopes to continue for the next 35.
