Cheesesteaks, Aesop’s Fables on Tap at Library

The Warren County Library has two upcoming events of interest, one for cheesesteak lovers, one for loves of Aesop’s Fables.

Shop-Rite registered dietician Taylor Cain will present a virtual nutrition classroom sponsored by the Warren County Library on Wednesday, Aug. 18, from 5 to 6 p.m.

The class will be on making Philly Cheesesteaks in foil packages for a nutritious meal with easy clean up. To register with Suzanne Walzer email swalzer@warrenliborg and receive a list of ingredients and instructions. All ages are welcome, but parents should supervise their children in the kitchen

Meanwhile, the library will stream Aesop’s Fables on You Tube through Monday, Aug. 23.

The fables, which include “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” and “The Tortoise and the Hare,” were filmed exclusively for the Warren County Library by Bright Star Theatre of Arden, NC. To register, go to the library website, warrenlib.org.

The fables were funded in part through the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Division of the Department of Land Preservation and the Catherine Dickson Hoffman foundation.
