Cyber Attack Protection Topic of Chamber Luncheon

Even the smallest businesses are susceptible to cyber-attacks; building a defense before it is needed is important to ensure your business and clients are safe.

The Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce’s January Lunch ‘N Learn focuses on cyber security tips specifically geared toward small business.

The luncheon is set for Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Frank’s Pizza in Flanders, on US-206, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Points to be covered will include protecting internal systems, confidential information, and how to make sure a business’s most important resources—its employees—are well-trained.

The talk will be led by Alfonso Dejesus, a 20-year employee of Siemens Healthcare, and an IT and cyber security expert. Dejesus holds multiple degrees in the field and specializes in corporate and product security. In his spare time, he is a professional photographer.

Cost for this month’s Lunch ‘N Learn is just $15 for MOACC members and $20 for non-members if pre-paid. Add $5 at the door. Reserve your spot today for this important topic at www.mountolivechambernj.com

Lunch ‘N Learns are just one of several of the Chamber’s regular events each month. Marketing in the Morning, a complimentary benefit to members of the Chamber, takes place the third Wednesday morning of every month from 7:15 to 9 a.m. Pre-registration is not required. There is a $10 fee for non-members. You can register for this program in advance at the chamber website.

In addition, the chamber hosts monthly meetings for Young Professionals and Women in Business. Details can be found on the Chamber’s website. For further information about the chamber and its array of events and benefits, visit www.mountolivechambernj.com.
