Direct Millwork, Andy’s Barber Shop, Pasta Grill By Enzo, Dove Environmental To Be Recognized By WBID

Direct Millwork, LLC deservedly will be honored as the Business of the Year by the Washington Business Improvement District at its Annual Recognition Reception on Thursday Feb. 7.

The event, presented by the WBID and sponsored by Frantoni Fashion for Men, Fliegauf Jewelers and Good Impressions Printing and Mailing, takes place at The Draught House on Route 31 from 6-9 p.m.

Direct Millwork was established on February 19, 2010 and in relatively short time has become a major leader in its industry regionally – and beyond. Located at 256 Belvidere Avenue, Direct Millwork is a building material supplier specializing in interior and exterior millwork products. The company supports its product offering with in-house assembly and light manufacturing capabilities, as well as on site take-off and project management experience. Both its sales office and production facility are located on Belvidere Avenue.

In addition to Direct Millwork, Pasta Grill by Enzo is being honored with the Business Development award for their expansion of their location on W. Washington Avenue which now includes the Asian Kitchen and a remodeled EZ Wash & Dry laundromat. Also, Andy’s Barber Shop will receive a Special Recognition award while Dove Environmental will be given the Community Partner award.

Pasta Grill by Enzo, a staple in the Borough for over 30 years, has additionally been a huge supporter of community functions in the Borough and elsewhere, particularly with youth activities. Andy’s Barber Shop has been in Downtown Washington for over 50 years.

Diana and Mike Dove’s Dove Environmental has been providing activities for children in the Borough for many years, and have been very involved in the Butterfly Garden at Memorial School. They have been a participant in dozens of WBID events; among them Hometown Halloween and Hometown Holiday, at the Festival in the Borough. Last year they announced their “retirement.” They have been an essential part of the Greater Borough community and will be missed.

Tickets for the Recognition event are $35 in advance, $45 at the door. Evening includes buffet dinner and live entertainment with the jazz band, Loose Measures.
