Food and Culture Connect Will Be Explored Tonight

The Warren County Library invites county residents to explore the intersection of food and culture with Vanessa Young on Zoom tonight, Monday, Nov. 22, at 6:30 p.m.

Young is a cooking instructor, recipe developer, educator and writer. She will present practical tips to support comfort and happiness at home grounded in the Danish concept of hygge which addresses cultural approaches to coziness. Her goal is to teach her audience to embrace the season in a uniquely cozy way by sharing practical tips to support comfort and happiness at home during a season when people are seeking new ways to enjoy time at home and celebrate togetherness. She will exploring cooking ideas, home dècor approaches and lifestyle strategies to create a warm, joy-filled environment filled with simple pleasures.

Young is known for focusing on the intersection of food and culture and for her artful approach to dishes and her focus on seasonal meals.
