Habitat Slates Valentine’s Day WRNJ Fundraiser

Warren County Habitat for Humanity is calling on all lovers (and everybody else) to show some Valentine’s Day love for people who need a new place to live.

The group is holding a Valentine’s Day Radiothon called Have a Heart for Humanity at WRNJ in Hackettstown. Donors are asked to call the radio station on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. with a donation in any amount.

The phone is 908-850-1000 and donations can also be made on the web at www.warrehabitat.org/WRNJ.

Warren County Habitat for Humanity has built more than 20 homes throughout the county. In addition, the group operates a Critical Home Repair program, where low- to moderate- income Warren County homeowners can apply for repairs that affect their health or safety, and a Community Center on Belvidere Avenue in Washington. where they host events and workshops that serve Warren County’s children, elderly, veterans, and others.
