Hope ‘To Go Green With Hope’ On April 14

Everyone is invited to Hope Township’s annual “Spring Cleanout Extravaganza”, and Environmental Education Day to participate in, investigate and learn about reducing, reusing and recycling in the home and at businesses and in neighborhoods.

The “Go Green With Hope” Fair takes place on Saturday April 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hope Township School, 320 Johnsonburg Road, Hope.

All FREE Plans for the day include:

> —  Electronics waste collection (benefiting Abilities of N.W.
> Jersey)
> —  Paper shredding (certified, insured, professional)
> —  Project Medicine Drop (Warren County Sheriff’s Office)
> —  Clothing, housewares, books, etc. collections (Salvation Army)
> —  Collections of towels, blankets, cleaning supplies, pet food and
> toys for animal shelters
> —  Sheets and blankets for “Simple Quilts”
> —  Free cycle area – flea market type swap where individuals can
> bring useful items they no longer need and give them away, or simply
> pick up someone else’s items.
> —  Information and displays from organizations, businesses
> —  T-shirt to tote demonstration and give-away
> —  Plastic yarn from plastic bags possibilities
> —  Raffles, discounts

The Fair is open to everyone, Hope residents and non-residents. There will also be a Green Market area for local shopping.

All are invited to participate in this event, in whatever way is important, meaningful, or fun for you in the spirit of reduce, reuse, recycle, rescue, buy local, and go green!
