Hope’s “Madame Jane” Foresees Good Times at Wild West City

For Jane Primerano of Hope, Wild West City is like a second home. She often spends time there during the course of the season as one of the “actors,” something she has been doing for many years.

This Halloween season she has taken on a new role: “Madame Jane” is doing Tarot card readings during the Byram western theme park’s Haunted Wild West Fest, which runs weekends through Oct. 31. There are all-ages activities during the daytime and PG-13 activities when the sun goes down. To find out your fortune, visit “Madame Jane” on Saturdays.

During the day on Saturdays and Sundays, experience a Halloween twist on the classic Wild West City experience when shows along the main street take a haunting turn. Expect appearances from the headless horseman and dance along to the Zombie Can-Can, and more. A children’s costume contest will also be held daily! On Friday and Saturday nights, take a haunted walking tour on the outskirts of town and later take a train ride deep into the badlands. Evening activities are best suited for teens and adults.

Haunted Wild West Fest hours are 12-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, and 6-10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets are $16 for children 2-12 and $18 for those 13 and older during the day. At night, it’s $12 per person. Advanced tickets at www.wildwestcity.com
