John Johnson

As the operating partner of the John Johnson Automotive Group, which consists of three automotive dealerships on Route 46 in Budd Lake, as well as John Johnson Insurance Services, John Johnson is a recognizable business professional in Warren County, and is well known for his honesty and integrity. Beyond these important contributions, however, John’s longtime commitment to the nonprofit community and the populations they serve is where John’s generosity continues to have incredible impact.
In addition to the significant financial contributions to more than 50 nonprofit organizations, Johnson is also extremely generous with his time, volunteering through the years in a myriad of capacities. He currently serves on numerous boards, including the Foundation for Hackettstown Medical Center where he is a past president and currently serves as vice president, as well as past president and current vice president at Child & Family Resources, and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Centenary University. Johnson was inducted into the Warren County Hall of Fame and is the recipient of Rotary International’s prestigious Paul Harris Fellow Award.

Director of Housekeeping Gudelia “Tita” Gonzalez has dedicated 26 years to caring for the residents of The House. In looking back through the years, Gonzalez is grateful that her strong work ethic has been recognized as she was promoted first to Supervisor, then Manager and ultimately, Director. She shares that earning the trust of management has provided her with a priceless sense of accomplishment, and she is thankful for the opportunity to serve the residents and The House community. “I have always wanted to learn, to grow. I don’t say ‘no,'” she explained. “I never want to get stuck!”
Taking care of the residents through the years, Gonzalez recognizes that even the smallest act can mean a lot to a person. “It’s the simple things that are important,” she said.
