A raffle earlier this month benefiting the Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Crisis Center (DASACC) of Warren County sent home a lucky winner with a 2019 Jeep Compass Latitude donated by John Johnson Automotive Group.

Abigail Christmann was the winner of the drawing, which was held at the annual Washington Celebrates America festivities on July 4.

DASACC is grateful for the support and commitment of community leaders like John Johnson Automotive Group. Working to combat domestic violence and sexual assault is something that, day in and day out, can be incredibly hard work. Community support allows this hard work to be done, and is the heart that brings our community together.

John Johnson Automotive group has been a dedicated partner sponsor of DASACC for the last two years. Most recently, John Johnson donated a 2019 Jeep Compass Latitude to support DASACC’s fundraising efforts in a raffle. One hundred percent of ticket sales will be used to help those impacted by sexual assault and domestic violence.

As part of the Jeep Raffle campaign, the Jeep had traveled throughout the county, from farmers’ markets to Memorial Day Motor Madness to the Washington Celebrates America Parade.  The Jeep represents John Johnson’s visible commitment to this agency and demonstrates to other residents that it takes community members and businesses alike to make a Safer Warren County.

With just the exposure from this raffle, DASACC gained many new followers on social media. Over 53% of the raffle tickets were purchased by new donors. They were able to reach new areas of the county, extending their message and mission to a broader audience. They have reached members of the community who may have needed them the most, but did not know they existed, DASACC said in a statement.

“I just wanted to say thank you to John Johnson for believing in our work and his commitment to DASACC,” said Jill Zinckgraf, Executive Director of DASACC. “I have had the opportunity to get to know John professionally and watch him interact with others and he is a thoughtful, caring, kind man who backs up his beliefs of investing in the county with generous actions.”

DASACC’s Board of Trustees, staff, volunteers, clients and survivors in Warren County thank John Johnson from the bottoms of their hearts!
