Ramsaysburg Concert Series Kicks Off With Yarn

The Concerts at Ramsaysburg presents Yarn to kick off its 2022 concert season on Sunday, May 15th at 3 p.m.

Originally based in Brooklyn, now from Raleigh, North Carolina, Yarn blends the charm of singer-songwriter Blake Christiana’s wit and storytelling abilities with rock solid backing from his bandmates Rod Hohl on guitar, Rick Bugel on bass and Robert Bonhomme on drums.

Often described as a ‘jam band’ Yarn is so much more. Country, roots and good old Rock and Roll weave their way into every show they do. With 6 albums and 4 Grammy nominations in their resume Yarn is not a band to be ignored. They have gotten airplay on Sirius FM, iTunes, Pandora, CNN and CMT and a ‘Download of the Day’ from Rolling Stone magazine have cemented their place in the music community.

Oh, and sharing the stage with the likes of Dwight Yoakam, Charlie Daniels, Marty Stuart, Allison Kraus and Leon Russell and playing over a thousand shows in the past five years has certainly added to Yarn’s bigtime presence!

The Ramsayaburg Historic Site is located on Route 46 along the banks of the beautiful Delaware river in Knowlton Twp. For tickets and other information on this and the entire summer concert lineup go to www.ramsaysburg.org.
