Rutherfurd Announces Outdoor Lecture Series

Rutherfurd Hall

Rutherfurd Hall is launching a new historical lecture series! Join Rutherfurd Hall historian Joan Salvas every Thursday from Sept. 3 through Oct. 1 on the Great Lawn to learn about the visitors and inhabitants of this historic hall.

The Outdoor Lecture Series, themed “Where is FDR When You Need Him?” includes five one-hour lectures covering topics that also include the Roosevelt family, Harry Truman, and, of course, the Rutherfurds.

Bring lawn chairs or a blanket and enjoy the Fall weather while learning a thing or two. In the case of rain, the lecture will be held the following Tuesday.

Tickets are $25 for the series and are limited to encourage social distancing.

For more information or for tickets, go to www.rutherfurdhall.org. Rutherfurd Hall is located at 1686 County Road 517.
