Due to the ongoing concern over COVID-19, Rutherfurd Hall has announced that all forthcoming March events will be postponed until further notice:

“Rutherfurd Hall cares about the health and well being of our friends, neighbors and customers. As we follow the impact of COVID-19, we want you to know that your safety is our top priority.”

March at Rutherfurd Hall marks spring with the return of some favorite event series and some new surprises, too!

“Your life does not get better by chance; it gets better by change” – Jim Rohn. Did you start 2020 with the intention of making changes but find yourself in the exact same place? Join Life and Mindset Coach, Lina Hollman, as she hosts Change Yourself, Change Your Life on Tuesday, March 3, 7-8:30 p.m. She will help you start moving forward by showing how to change perspective and harness the power of positivity. Attendees will receive a free life planner. Attendance is $15 per person; register online.

Comedy Night is back, Friday, March 6! Headliner Mike Burton has performed across the country, entertaining crowds and warming up audiences with a fresh, fun style. He will be joined by Scott Brenan and host Don Michalowski. Doors open at 7 p.m., show at 8. Tickets are $30 per person; register online. 21+ only. Light snacks are included; cash bar available.

On Thursday, March 19, Adult Paint Night will lead aspiring artists through a spring-themed masterpiece. Tickets are $30 and include all supplies, professional instruction by Artstitution, and snacks. BYOB.

The 2019-2020 Jazz Series continues Sunday, March 22, with the Dan Levinson Sextet playing traditional and hot jazz, formerly known as Dixieland. The show, 3-5 p.m., is $30 in advance/$35 at the door.  

Whodunnit? What better atmosphere for a Murder Mystery Dinner than historic Rutherfurd Hall? Friday, March 27, will be marked by suspense – and laughter – as dinner-goers solve a mystery based in a 1926 speakeasy as two gangs duke it out for control of a bootleg business. The chicken and pasta dinner will be catered by David’s Country Inn. BYOB. Show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $45 per person.

Join the Rutherfurd Hall Foundation to celebrate outgoing Rutherfurd Hall Executive Director Laurie Rapisardi at a fundraiser in her name on Saturday, March 28, 5:30-8:30 p.m. This BYOB event will include passed hors d’oeuvres by David’s Country Inn. It was announced in February that Laurie would be leaving to pursue a new, exciting challenge. During her tenure, she led successful fundraising campaigns for the bathroom restoration project and leading fundraisers like the Kentucky Derby event, wine pairing tastings, and calendar raffle. Tickets are $50 and include a donation in Laurie’s name. Please RSVP by March 20.

Rutherfurd Hall is located at 1686 Route 517 in Allamuchy, just off Interstate 80. They are open every Wednesday from 1:00-4:00 pm for tours on the hour.
