The Domestic Abuse & Sexual Assault Crisis Center (DASACC) will hold its fifth annual Safer in Warren County Dog Walk on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Meadow Breeze Park, Washington Township.

Registration is at 10:30 a.m., the walk begins at 11 a.m.

DASACC secured a grant in November 2018 to build animal kennels so accommodate the pets of people needing the services of the shelter.

According to DASACC, domestic violence happens among all races, ethnicities, socioeconomic status, gender, sexual orientation, and ability. It impacts all members of the family, including our pets. By recognizing the overlap of domestic violence and animal abuse, we can help create a safer county.
