Special Dinnertime Lunch ‘N Learn Discusses New Minimum Wage Law

The Washington Business Improvement District is presenting a special “Lunch” ‘N Learn event in the EVENING on Thursday March 14, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

This event will be a discussion of the new minimum wage law recently passed by the NJ Legislature and how it will affect small businesses moving forward. The first installment of the new wage takes effect July 1 and then annually rises over the next few years until it reaches $15 per hour.  The new minimum wage effects part-time and full-time employees.

The special presentation will be held at Celestine’s Catering and Restaurant on E. Washington Avenue (Rt. 57) in Downtown Washington. It is open to any businesses in the area.

Join us for a discussion on the new law, with special guest speakers on hand to answer your questions.

Cost to attend is $15 in advance, which includes light fare, or $20 at the door.

Space is limited. Go to washingtonbid.org to reserve your spot.
