Tomorrow: Drive-Thru “Candy Cane Lane” and Santa in a Firetruck

Design by Inside Warren Staff

The holidays have arrived in Hackettstown with two family-friendly events slated for tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 12!

Santa is taking a quick break from work in the North Pole to spend the afternoon riding around town in a fire truck! He will be traveling along the town’s main roads starting at 1 p.m., so keep an ear out for the sirens to know when he is nearby!

In the evening, a brand-new event will transport families to the wondrous Candy Cane Lane. Co-hosted by Hackettstown Business Improvement District and Hackettstown Recreation Department, families are invited to drive through the outdoor light display at Riverfront Park from 5-7 p.m.

The event is a stay-in-your-car event, so get cozy with pajamas and hot cocoa as you explore the displays, created by local businesses. Be sure to toll down the window, too, because the Hackettstown Community Band will be performing 5-6 and a DJ will also be playing some holiday favorites.

If you missed him earlier in the day, don’t fret! Santa will greet Candy Cane Lane visitors with goody bags (goody bags are while supplies last). The Hackettstown Fire Department will also be on site selling wreaths.

Visiting Candy Cane Lane is free for the whole family. Sponsors include QuickChek, the Warren County Heritage and Cultural Division of Land Preservation, Hackettstown Rotary Club, and Mars Wrigley.
