With a host of county and state officials, special guests including Kathleen Comanto, Deputy Secretary for Higher Education in New Jersey, members of the College’s Board of Trustees, and educators in the crowd, Warren Community College celebrated the official opening of its Dr. Joseph Warren Robotics Research Center with a gala dedication ceremony on Oct. 12. The program, which has been recognized by leading industry organizations and the FAA for its excellence, attracts students from not only Warren, but throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Dr. Will Austin, WCC President and Chief Pilot (pictured above), provided an overview of the new aspects of the building and the program itself during the ceremony which also included remarks from Comanto, Warren County Commissioners Director Jason Sarnoski, James Kern III and Lori Ciesla, State Senator Michael Doherty, State Assemblyman John DiMaio, and Board of Trustee Chair Yvonne Reitemeyer.
