Washington BID Names O’Neill Executive Assistant

A familiar face in Washington Borough is now the Executive Assistant at the Washington Business Improvement District.

Colleen O’Neill, who has been the Taproom Manager at Buttzville Brewing Company in Downtown Washington, joined the Washington BID team on Aug. 1.

“Colleen brings many great assets to the WBID,” said Melanie Thiel, Executive Director of the WBID. “She brings extensive social media knowledge to the table, which is so important these days, as well as event planning, creativity, and an enthusiasm that makes her perfect for the job.”

“I’m excited to be part of the WBID,” stated O’Neill. “I’ve peripherally been involved in several of the BID’s events the past two years and have worked on some other downtown activities so I feel in a way that I’ve been part of this for awhile!”

She added, “I look forward to helping the Washington Borough business community continue to grow and make an impact on the region as a destination for shoppers and new businesses.”

O’Neill has lived in Warren County for the past 13 years. Previously she spent 15 years as a mental health provider and has a Master’s degree in behavioral psychology.

When not working, O’Neill enjoys crafting, costuming and anything where she gets to showcase her creative side.
