The Washington Business Improvement District is hosting a special BID Good Nite networking event on Monday, Oct. 5, with Mary Adelman of the Northwest New Jersey Small Business Development Center.

SBDC offers an array of cost-free counseling services and a variety of training workshops to assist small businesses, new and established.

BID Good Nite is scheduled from 5:15-7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5, and will be held at Pasta Grill by Enzo, W. Washington Avenue, Washington.

Adelman, the SBDC Director, will give an overview of services available there and also answer any questions.

Each year, hundreds of businesses throughout New Jersey take advantage of this organization. Many from Washington Borough have already utilized its services.

“It is important to note that the SBDC program is available to established businesses as well as new ones, or even to entrepreneurs thinking of opening a business,” said Melanie Thiel, Executive Director of the WBID. “This is a great opportunity to explore how the SBDC might be able to help your business.”

BID Good Nite is free and open to any business in the area. Advance reservations are recommended. For more information visit www.washingtonbid.org or call 908-689-4800. BID Good Nite is one of many programs offered by the Washington BID on a regular basis.
