Washington’s Olivia Stuber Earns State Recognition

Centenary University

Olivia Stuber, of Washington, and two other area Centenary University students were recognized for excellence at the New Jersey Distinguished Clinical and Cooperating Teachers Award Ceremony, which was held virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The awards are co-sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Education and the New Jersey Association of Colleges for Teacher Education and laud the top 60 clinical interns—three each from New Jersey’s educator preparation programs.

Centenary University students honored this year are:

  • Olivia Stuber of Washington
  • Rachel Cope of Budd Lake
  • Danielle Tornillo of Succasunna

Centenary University offers undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees in education at its campuses in Hackettstown and Parsippany, as well as at 75 professional development sites in northern New Jersey. More than 100 principals, superintendents, directors or supervisors—including most of the principals in Warren County—have, or are currently earning a Centenary University degree, providing outstanding networking opportunities for the University’s graduates.
