Children Can Learn How To Write Plays May 18

Children love to perform and write plays and a teaching artist from The Growing State, The Children’s Theatre of New Jersey in Netcong will present a 90-minute workshop at the Catherine Dickson Hofman branch of the Warren County Library, 4 Lambert Road, Blairstown.

The workshop, scheduled for May 18 starting at 4:40 p.m., will help young writers from aged 10 to 18 bring their ideas, thoughts and voice to the page and perhaps the stage. It is open to writers at any level.

The event is part of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance 2022 Stages Festival, made possible by support from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts; Bank of America; The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey; OceanFirstFoundation; New Jersey Historical Commission. www.njtheatrealliance.org/stages.
