The eighth season of Rutherfurd Hall’s Jazz Series leads off Sunday, Oct. 27, with the invigorating music stylings of The Danny Bacher Quartet.

A swinging singer, saxophonist and consummate performer, Danny Bacher is known for his sense of humor and making sure his audience has a great time.

The rest of the season continues with unique, world-renowned performers that will keep the energy up:

Nov. 24: Swingadelic, featuring the music of Johnny Mercer

Jan. 26, 2020: The Nick Scheuble Quartet featuring Tomoko Ohno on piano and Max Morden on trumpet

March 22: Dan Levinson Sextet, playing traditional and hot jazz

April 19: The Harry Allen and Grant Stewart Quintet, featuring two tenor saxophone players

All five shows will be held Sundays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Rutherfurd Hall, 1686 Route 517, Allamuchy, near the Route 80 ramp.

Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door. Special ticket packages are available in advance of the lead off concert: Attend all five shows for only $135.
