Warren Hills Alum Earns His Pilot Wings, Gets Promotion

Warren Hills alum Nathan Detrick earned his wings in the U.S. Navy on Sept. 11. A member of the Navy for six years, he has been studying for his pilot wings at flight school in Pensacola, Florida, according to a Warren Hills Regional High School representative. He has also been promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade (LTJG), they said. He will soon move to Jacksonville, Florida, where he will begin training on the Boeing P-8 Poseidon, an aircraft used for many roles, including for anti-submarine actions.
