No Time For Baking? PAL Fundraiser Has You Covered

Do your cookies taste more like dust than delicious? Cakes more mush than magnificent?

Whether your baking skills are less than perfect, your schedule leaves no room for a day in the kitchen, or you’re just not all that into baking in general, you can still bring a home-baked goody to all of your holiday get-togethers.

The Pet Adoption League of North Jersey (PAL) is holding a holiday bake sale Saturday, Dec. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside the Tractor Supply Co. on Route 206 in Flanders.

Treats, all festively presented, will include, among other goodies, trays of cookies, cakes, brownies, and, of course, homemade dog treats!

Why go store-bought when PAL makes it easy to “indulge your holiday good spirit and support local homeless animals” with this delicious fundraiser?

Based out of Hackettstown, PAL pets are housed in volunteer foster homes or kennel facilities throughout Warren County rather than a traditional shelter and every bit of help counts.

PAL is always seeking donations for their pets. Items sought include cat food, toys and cat nip, litter boxes and supplies, paper towels and clean used bath towels, and pet store gift cards. To see how else you can help, please visit the League’s website, www.palpets.org or call 973-584-0095.
