A Celebration Goes Bad in Centenary’s “Bachelorette”

Centenary Stage Company and Centenary University’s all student NEXTstage Repertory presents Leslye Headland’s “Bachelorette,” running Nov. 5-8.

“Bachelorette” is the wicked black comedy story of four high school friends who reunite in New York City the night before Becky’s wedding. The girls embark on a night of debauchery that goes from playfully wasted to devastatingly destructive. Their old fears, unfulfilled desires and deep bonds transform a prenuptial bender into a night they’ll never forget.

The show opens Thursday, Nov. 5, and runs through that Sunday. Shows take place in the Little Theatre, 400 Jefferson Street in Hackettstown, on the campus of Centenary University.

The cast and creative team of “Bachelorette” is comprised entirely of Centenary University students; it is directed by guest artist Georgia Mallory Guy.

Tickets are $5 for Centenary students, $15 for adults, and $10 for other students and children under 12.

For performance times, more information, or to purchase tickets, please visit centenarystageco.org or call the Centenary Stage Company box office at (908) 979-0900.

The box office is open Monday through Friday from 1-5 p.m. and two hours prior to every scheduled performance. The box office is located in the Lackland Performing Arts Center at 715 Grand Ave. Hackettstown, N.J., on the campus of Centenary University.
